With the unprecedented growth of Healthcare Industry, there has been an incredible change in the requirement of Hospitals. Now it has to take care of several departments like Marketing, Human resource, Inventory, Budgeting, Laundry, Housekeeping, Dietary etc. It is more like a Service Industry now. Due to this change, there is a marked distinction between the Medical services and Administration. While the Medical Staff handles the medical responsibilities, the Administration is handled by Healthcare Managers. Administration involves Management and has the same functions as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling, coordinating, reporting and budgeting.
